The Mayors of the Perth Inner City Group congratulate Premier Cook and his Labor Government on its re-election and look forward to working with the new Ministry on ensuring the Perth Inner City continues to grow its attractiveness for residents, visitors, businesses and investors.

In working with the re-elected Cook Government our advocacy priorities remain:

• A vibrant inner city
• An inner-city for everyone
• An accessible inner-city

We look forward to delivery of a number of significant initiatives including a new emergency department for Royal Perth Hospital, expanding the Swan River ferry network, increased funding for PCYCs, redevelopment of Dorrien Gardens into a Little Italy precinct and new funding for sports and recreation in the inner city.
